The Police Administration said temporary traffic suspensions will be introduced on several roads in Montenegro on 22 October because of the Berlin Process leaders’ summit in Budva. The stops will last at most 60 minutes and will depend on the movement of official delegations.
The summit is being held on 21 and 22 October. Officers from the General Jurisdiction Police Sector will apply temporary movement limits and traffic stops so protected persons and official delegations can travel safely and security measures can proceed.
From 07:00 to 23:00, occasional suspensions, including a full stop of traffic, are planned on the route from the Debeli Brijeg border crossing through Herceg Novi, Kotor and Tivat to Budva.
From 17:00 to 23:00, occasional stops are planned on Podgorica–Tuzi–the Božaj border crossing; Podgorica Airport–Golubovci–Virpazar–Bar–Budva; and Bar–Sutomore–Ulcinj–the Sukobin border crossing.
Police said the limits will follow the movement of escorted vehicles and official delegations, and that traffic on the listed routes will be halted from time to time for no longer than 60 minutes. They said the public will be told promptly through official information channels if the traffic regime changes, and thanked residents for cooperation, patience and a responsible attitude that helps security work of importance to Montenegro.
