The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica said it ordered that I.R. be held for up to 72 hours on reasonable suspicion of theft.
According to that suspicion, on 4 October 2026 the person used the fact that the injured party's vehicle was unlocked, took a purse containing money from inside it, and kept it.
The detention was ordered because circumstances suggest the suspect could commit the offence again, given earlier convictions for the same kind of criminal offences.
